  Vision

  Foundation Training creates opportunities for local people to have a second chance to learn. It builds from the foundation that confidence and
  self-esteem are crucial to learning and that for many learning is most effective and accessible outside the classroom.

  Whilst our focus has been on supporting young people and young adults that are excluded or outside education and employment we are
  expanding our provision to other groups in the community.

  We will seek to deliver innovative and high quality training and assessment by providing
  >embedded learning of Literacy, Numeracy, Life, Key and basic vocational skills for young people and young adults linked with our
  social enterprises and Foyer.
  >the delivery of Literacy, Numeracy and ICT training in Children’s Centres and Community Centres.

  Other areas where we are developing our training services include Health and Safety training, Parenting and Childcare,
  healthy eating, growing your own veg, training, and Food Hygiene training using our qualified and experienced staff.
