Vision

  The Places and spaces project aims to facilitate our growing range of services, social enterprises and our community engagement, through
  providing administrative support for the organisation as a whole and managing the Foundation house building, for it to be a place of meeting, full
  of diversity and creative, positive activity. The various tasks and responsibilities offer numerous routes for the development of office based and
  business skills, promoting the employability of young people in the wider society.

  We want Foundation House to be a focal point for building community in Wolverton and beyond and to be an effective base for the Christian
  Foundation and its social enterprises based here.

  We have three dimensions to our work:

  >The letting and hiring of spaces with in the centre to support community activities; there will be a particular focus on supporting those groups
  and activities that build community cohesion;
  >The engagement with local community events. To initiate and join local community events that express the values of the MK Christian
  Foundation:
  >The effective management of Foundation house as a base for the organisation and some of its social enterprises.

  Foundation House is the home of the Christian Foundation in Wolverton and as such we want it to be fully expressive of our mission,
  values and personality. We want all who contact us to experience the welcome and hospitality that lies at the heart of much of what
  we do. It is the aim of the Places and Spaces Team to run the building in ways that support this. The team are often the first
  experience that people have of the Foundation and provide the context for much of our work. The impression they make and
  create through managing the facilities is crucial to the achievement of our mission.

  Young people engaged in the running of our team's activities will be central to the welcome and through this develop
  valuable skills and build their communication and self-confidence.
